WHAT IS MUSIC LICENSING? Sounds
complicated, and although the basic premise is not, depending on where
the music is used, terms and conditions can run the gamut from a simple
contract to volumes of legalese terminology. The best basic definitions
of music licensing are found on the following links (from How Stuff Works by Marshall Brain).
