COMMERCIAL RATES
non-broadcast media/presentations-*not for hire (including promotional and internal video, film, live, internet and
intranet {non-public} online presentations, corporate events {trade shows, meetings, etc.}) for songs/pieces that are to be
featured as main or recurring themes in the production or project (e.g., “My Heart Will Go On” was a main
and recurring theme in the movie Titanic):
• $500.00/song or piece up to 04:59 minutes (plus any incurred expenses);
• each additional minute in finished, broadcast ready, mixed and mastered music increases by
increments of $100.00.
non-broadcast media/presentations-*not for hire (including promotional and internal video, film, live, internet and
intranet {non-public} online presentations, corporate events {trade shows, meetings, etc.}) for songs/pieces that are to be
used as background or enhancing sound design in the production or project:
• $100.00/hour (plus any incurred expenses).

intranet {non-public} online presentations, corporate events {trade shows, meetings, etc.}) for songs/pieces that are to be featured as main or recurring themes in the production or project (e.g., “My Heart Will Go On” was a main

• base composition fee (‘for hire’ projects only): $1000.00;
• $100.00/hour (plus any incurred expenses);
• all copyright registration fees: $35.00 per song or piece – or as a total collection (if more
than one piece is being used).

• $100.00/hour (plus any incurred expenses).
*not for hire: JGLsongs LLC is the composer and sole owner of all copyrights and publishing rights. Copyright registration fees are
not charged to artist.
**for hire: JGLsongs LLC waives all copyrights and publishing rights to the client/corporation. Copyright registration fees in the
amount of $35.00/song or piece (current US Library of Congress rate) are charged to client and registration is handled by
JGLsongs LLC, with all correspondence forwarded to client/corporation. A base composition fee is also charged to client or
corporation, if project is to be completed ‘for hire.’
ALL FEES SUBJECT TO NEGOTIATION. ALREADY COMPLETED MUSIC IN THE JGLsongs LLC CATALOG CAN ALSO BE
LICENSED TO A PROJECT IN LIEU OF NEWLY COMPOSED MUSIC. For more information on rates slated for public broadcast
